The TV presenter also revealed her and husband Jesse Wood ‘sleep as far away from each other as possible’ following claims of marriage troubles
FEARNE Cotton has admitted her husband Jesse Wood “drives her mental” and they “sleep as far away from each other as possible” after recently opening up about their marriage woes.
The revelation comes just two months after she spoke of “clinging to her marriage” after a “two-hour screaming match” with Jesse.
In a discussion about their home decor in Notebook magazine, the TV presenter reveals the couple are polar opposites in their cleanliness, with her being a neat freak.
“Jesse is the opposite. He makes a cup of tea and leaves the cupboard doors open, tea bags on the side, milk still out two hours later, it literally drives me mental,” she says.
“But I do his head in too, because he’ll get clothes out to wear and I’ll have tidied them away before he even gets out the shower.”
Then, discussing their sleeping arrangements, Fearne, 37, confesses: “My bedroom is my calm zone – where I try to escape the chaos. My bed is super-king size because I don’t want my husband anywhere near me when I’m sleeping.”
Writing in her column for Red magazine in January, Fearne – who shares son Rex, six, and daughter Honey, four, with the rocker – explained: “Love takes hard work – and no one wants to hear that.
“This year, Jesse and I hit a rough patch – he was away, touring relentlessly [with his band, Reef].
“I was trying to keep my own career going while looking after our kids and we were both desperately clinging on to our marriage.”
It all came to a head with the two-hour “screaming match”, and she admitted she panicked their “love had gone”.
