This summer on Instagram, Halle Berry drew flock on the internet after posting cryptic pictures of two feet, seemingly an interesting prelude to a much awaited love confession. After several clues on the internet since July, Halle Berry’s hunt for love is finally coming to an end and is ready to spill the tea on which musician she’s allegedly dating.
The Oscar winner posted a photo of herself on Sepember 17, wearing a newsboy cap that came with a playful hint: a Van Hunt T-shirt. Captioned “now ya know,” that comes with a heart and a foot emoji, the post reminded her eager fans of the other two photos that Berry uploaded. The mystery picture contained her feet along with those of her suspected lover.
The 54-year-old actress’ first pic was taken last July 19 with the caption “sunday, funday.” The second photo was posted on Aug. 16. In her caption, Berry expressed her heartfelt thanksgiving to all her friends and fans that have been supportive since day one, making her birthday extra special.
It turns out, what really made her day special was none other than 50-year-old musician Van Hunt. The singer/songwriter has already released five hit albums, including his latest song “Popular” in 2017.
Along with Berry’s shocking reveal post with Hunt in her tag, the songwriter also posted the same image with a teasing caption “there you go…” confirming their budding romance. Hunt also posted sweet photos of Berry giving him pecks on the cheek on Jul. 9 and Aug. 30 with a heartwarming caption: “my bamboo.”
Prior to their relationship, Berry was married to David Justice from 1993 to 1997, Eric Benet from 2001 to 2005, and Olivier Martinez from 2013 to 2016. She has a 6-year-old son named Maceo Rovert Martinez with the French film director and a daughter with her ex, Gabriel Aubry, a 12-year-old named Nahla Ariela Aubry.
The X-Men star embraces her role as a mother, saying that it’s the best job. She recalled in an interview with InStyle how her son keeps calling her Halle Berry in public, drawing attention from the crowd. She also shared what she truly desires as a mother saying, “The only thing I want at the end of the day is for my children to say, “You weren’t perfect, you didn’t do everything right, but you were a good mom.’”
