Jay Leno in terrifying car crash while filming upcoming show, walks away injury free

The host was being driven by stuntman Bob Riggle when the car started to roll uncontrollably

This is the moment Jay Leno was involved in a terrifying car crash while he was filming an upcoming segment for his show.

The former late night TV host, 66, was filming the debut episode for CNBC show Jay Leno’s Garage with stunt driver Bob Riggle at Irwindale Speedway in California when the incident took place.

As part of the stunt, Riggle first drove the car on its two back wheels but as he turned a corner the car flipped on its side and continued to roll uncontrollably.

Fortunately both men were completely unharmed.

As the car landed, Riggle then turned to the host to ask him if we was OK.

“Yeah, I’m fine. It doesn’t get more exciting than that,” Leno said as he got out of the car and casually rolled up his sleeves.

“Wait till my wife sees this,” Riggle then joked as the two men shared a laugh.
