‘Crazy’: Steve Harvey Blows Fans Away After He Reveals What Changed His Life
Steve Harvey has made his mark in the world of entertainment with hosting talk shows, comedy, acting, penning books, and motivational speaking.
On Nov. 30, Harvey re-posted a video to his Facebook platform that he’d posted earlier to The Official Steve Harvey YouTube channel, one giving the audience two things that will transform their lives.
“You are looking at somebody that’s been at the bottom before,” Harvey said. “I’m not like some rich dude who mama ’n’ ’em had some money, and gave me some money, and now I’m telling y’all how to get over,” he continued. “I’m going to tell you how to get over because I’ve been under.”
The first thing Harvey told his audience to do that could change their lives is reading the verse “You have not, because you ask not” from James 4:2.
Harvey noted that the scripture isn’t in just rich people’s Bible’s, but that of the everyday person.
“Most people don’t have the life of their dreams because you don’t ask God for the life of your dreams, Harvey said. “You’ve been trying to figure it out and handle it yourself. Well, how that’s working out for you?” he asked.
Along with reading the word, one must have a vision board, writing down what they want out of life.
“Write the vision and make it plan. So he who reads it will run to it, and even though it will tarry, wait for it. For surely, it will come at an appointed time” from Habakkuk 2:2-4.
“What I’m telling you works. This ain’t no magic trick,” Harvey said with power in his voice.
Harvey then gave viewers an exercise to help them achieve their fullest potential.
“Write everything you want from God on a piece of paper, be as detailed as you can. Write down 300 things, open up your imagination,” Harvey instructed.
“Do not stop until you have 300 things. Read your list every morning and every night. One year from today, go down your list and check off anything that has happened for you.”
Harvey explains that the task must be done in faith, with the expectation that God is going to move mountains. “At the end of one year, you will be stunned at how much stuff comes off that list,” Harvey said.
Fans gave their thoughts on Harvey’s motivational speech.
“I will come back here one year from today and give my success story.”
“Steve giving some true advice. Trust and put God first, and you will be successful.”
“This is incredible! I started this list a few months ago, and I’m already crossing things off! I was raised by a single mom in government-funded housing, who knew it was this easy!can’t wait to be walking the runways 🙏👏.”
“This is absolutely true! My sister and I have done it for years, and it is crazy how it works.”
“Mr. Harvey!! This worked for me! This is so true!!! I’m now in the UK pursuing great things!!”
Steve Harvey to Talk Show Staff: STAY AWAY FROM ME!
Steve Harvey will be moving his surprisingly popular talk show to Los Angeles this fall.
But this doesn’t mean sunny skies are ahead for all who work on the program, at least not when they encounter their boss anywhere near the set.
A memo sent from Harvey to his employees surfaced online yesterday via Robert Feder’s Chicago media blog – and it doesn’t exactly paint the host in a positive light.
It actually makes Harvey sound like more of a diva than Mariah Carey.
Among the requests he makes of his staff members?
- Do not come to my dressing room unless invited.
- Do not approach me while I’m in the makeup chair unless I ask to speak with you directly.
- Do not wait in the hallway to speak to me… make an appointment.
Sources tell Variety that this memo was sent to Harvey’s staff in Chicago prior to the start of the fifth season of his former daytime program, “Steve Harvey,” which ran for five seasons in national syndication.
Beginning in a few months, the revamped series will tape in Los Angeles at Harvey’s request, with a brand new crew.
Insider also say the messages may have been leaked by an ex- staff member, who was bitter about being let go.
Steve Harvey: Sneakily Selling Off Assets Ahead of Divorce Battle?
Your first divorce can throw you for a loop, but Steve Harvey knows what it’s like to have an ex-wife. He has two.
As he gears up for a rumored third divorce, he’s making sure to not repeat past mistakes.
According to a new report, the television host is liquidating millions of dollars worth of property to keep it out of his wife’s hands.
RadarOnline reports that Steve Harvey is selling off property left and right.
Since January of this eyar, the Family Feud host has placed four different properties for sale in Texas.
Two of those properties have already sold.
He has made an estimated $2 million.
And it seems like it’s only a matter of time before the other two properties follow in those footsteps.
The report says that Harvey has also fiddled with the ownership of another property.
He has allegedly transferred ownership to himself, where previously he owned it alongside wife Marjorie.
This imminent divorce battle comes on the heels of additional bad news — this time of a professional nature.
The controversial television personality has learned that NBC Universal will no longer be broadcasting his talk show.
At present, he’s worth a whopping nine figures, but the report warns that this could endanger his $200 million business empire.
Steve Harvey: Trying to “Steal” Wendy Williams’ Talk Show?!
In recent weeks, Wendy Williams has been struggling with health issues that have prevented her from filming new episodes of her famously trashy talk show.
Steve Harvey longs for a future in which you could channel surf for hours and see nothing but Steve Harvey with maybe the occasional glimpse of Kenan Thompson doing a Steve Harvey impression thrown in for variety.
What do these two facts have to do with one another?
Well, if a new report from Radar Online is to be believed, Wendy and Steve are embroiled in some sort of Shakespearean intrigue, and the media personality who emerges victorious will enjoy the coveted title of King or Queen of Syndicated Daytime Television.
A source tells the site that producers are desperate for someone to fill in for Wendy while she’s on leave — and Steve believes he’s just the man for the job.
“Wendy’s fans are very particular. They didn’t take well to Don Lemon when he stepped in. He lasted just one week,” a production insider tells the site.
“It would take a very particular personality to step into Wendy’s shoes,” the insider adds.
“The Fox guys see Steve as a big enough name, and word in the industry is the way he’s been treated by NBC, he feels they don’t deserve him.”
Steve Harvey: Yes, I Wrote That Memo! No, I’m Not Sorry!
Look out, Mariah Carey.
Steve Harvey is coming for your title of Biggest and Most Annoying Diva in the History of Hollywood.
Earlier this week, a letter allegedly written by the talk show host to his employees surfaced online.
In the memo, which was likely leaked by a disgruntled ex-employee, Harvey asks for total and complete privacy from his underlings.
It was sent prior to Season 5 of Harvey’s talk show and it asks for staff members to “adhere” to such rules as:
Do not come to my dressing room unless invited.
Do open my dressing room door.
Do not wait in the hallway to speak to me.
Do not attempt to walk with me.
Harvey really could have saved himself a lot of time and effort if he had simply written “STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!” instead.
Take a look at the controversial memo below:
Was it really written and passed along by Harvey?
Yes, the comedian himself verified as much in a follow-up discussion with Entertainment Tonight on Thursday.
“I could not find a way to walk from the stage to my dressing room, to sit in my makeup chair, to walk from my dressing room to the stage or to just sit and have lunch without somebody just walking in,” Harvey explained to ET, adding:
“I’ve always had a policy where, you know, you can come and talk to me – so many people are great around here, but some of them just started taking advantage of it.”
Harvey went on to say that people on his staff would dare to bring friends to set and they would then dare to ask for autographs or not knock when entering his personal space.
And he just couldn’t handle it any longer.
