Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is an acidic fermented tonic that can help burn belly fat. Some research has shown it can promote weight loss when added to a diet plan. This is how you can have it.
When trying to get into shape, slimmers need to exercise and follow a healthy diet plan.
Many Britons will want to lose weight from a specific part of their body, such as their midriff.
While belly fat can be stubborn and difficult to get rid of, sipping on apple cider vinegar has been shown to help in some cases.
A study published on US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health reviewed 144 obese adults who were given ACV every day.
Those who had one tablespoon daily dropped 2.6 pounds in 12 weeks and their waist circumference decreased by 0.75 inches.
Participants who had two tablespoons each day lost 3.7 pounds and their waist slimed by 0.5 inches.
In another small study, participants who had ACV with a high-carb meal consumed an average of 200 to 275 fewer calories a day.
The drink comes with a variety of weight loss benefits according to nutritionist Lisa Borg.
She told Express.co.uk: “Apple cider vinegar can help a weight loss regime due to its diuretic actions that assist the elimination of excess fluids.
“It’s cleansing effects on the liver can improve the metabolism and thereby encourage the breakdown of excess fat.”
How much should you have?
Dieters don’t need to drink huge amounts of ACV to notice the benefits.
Lisa suggested that having just one tablespoon a day could be enough to see a change.
She said it can be mixed into a glass of water and taken along with a meal.
“I recommend taking one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar mixed into a full glass of water,” She continued.
“You should sip this mixture throughout the first half of your meal.”
